Life isn’t always easy or fair. My personal history includes both my parents dying of cancer while I was still in my teens, the birth of twins followed within the year with the surgical removal of a brain tumor, an acrimonious divorce after twenty years of marriage and having to endure the chronic pain of a workplace back injury. I rejoice in my children and grandchildren, my amazing husband and my extended family including my brothers and sisters in Christ.
I’ve known physical and emotional pain but I have learned to make lemonade from the lemons and to build a life that is full and satisfying. You can get your life back on track too. If you don’t like the way you are, make yourself different. As your therapist, I’ll come up side you and support you as you build on your strengths. While we may briefly examine the past, our focus will be on how you can make your life better right now, where you are and with the resources at hand. Your life can be better and that change can begin today.
