Recognize your life as it is. It is what it is, but it doesn’t have to be this way. Until you really wake up and acknowledge the life you have, you can’t bring about change. If you’re waiting for the Blue Bird of Happiness to drop happiness in your lap (outside circumstances to shift so that you can feel happy and energized), you are likely to have a very long wait. “Life will be better when I get a better job” … “loose weight” … “get a better boyfriend” … Don’t put your life on hold. Don’t wait for something or someone to change your world. Stop waiting for your life to begin … make it happen. You can start small. Break out of old patterns of behavior and thinking that have only held you back. Want that new job, start looking … loose weight, begin now (not next Monday) to take in fewer calories than your body uses for energy. It’s not complicated … like Nike says, “Just do it!”
